A missing feature does not by itself mean an update failed. Check the build, computer, country and phone app in order.
Short answer
Check in this order: your exact build, your infotainment computer (AMD or Intel), your driving computer (HW3 or HW4), your country, and your Tesla app version. If one does not match, the update alone will not bring the feature. If everything matches, open the release notes in the car and follow their settings path; contact Tesla Support if it remains unresolved.
Use the hardware-check guide if you do not know a field. No VIN required. Nothing is sent or saved by this tool.

Read the related checksAn offer, a download and an installation are separate states. Read the Software screen, check the vehicle’s Wi-Fi for downloads and follow the in-car instructions for installation. Do not attempt to drive during installation.
Read the related checksCompare the full build number, infotainment processor, driving computer, country and phone-app version with the feature’s source. Model and year alone are insufficient. A matching checklist still does not confirm activation on your car.

If not: wait for that build; see how updates reach your car.
If not: the update will not enable it on your car.
If not: same: it is a hardware limit, not a fault.
If not: availability there is unknown, not confirmed.
If not: update the app on your phone.
All five match? Open the release notes in the car and follow their settings path. Still missing: note the exact build, both computer lines and what you see, and contact Tesla Support.

Usually a different infotainment computer (AMD vs Intel), driving computer (HW3 vs HW4) or country. The version number alone does not decide features.
Tesla does not offer reinstalling on request. If all five checks match and the feature is missing, contact Tesla Support with the details.
